Plurkmania uses the same REST-ful calls that the unofficial API uses as well. It is a little sad that many of the top listed people have not embraced Plurk. Leo, Scoble etc - great guys who did help give Plurk a boost only not to really give it a chance themselves. I personally have loved being on Plurk - it's one of my favorite and most fertile places for ideas and connections - and it is a lot of fun. nice site.
